Crazy Adventures in Parenting is a fun-filled, crazy journey into the life of Lisa Douglas, an Army wife raising six kids. A northern transplant struggling to accustom to southern living, with stretch marks, dirty diapers, and sibling rivalry a-plenty, this mommy knows crazy, and survival by coffee. » More about Lisa & family here.
I'm going to make this week not suck, even if it's spent eating chocolate for every meal and hiring a babysitter for the entire week. I think I deserve it, don't you?
This week's going to look slim, because I am not 100% (despite being my last day on these killer antibiotics, this bladder infection still doesn't feel gone) and I'm going to kick my feet up, dangit!
*Take a chill pill. Hubby comes home next week. The nightmare will finally be over.
*Water lawn and plants everyday.√
*Begin planning Kindergarten Dude's 6th birthday
*Finish both articles for Momicillin and Army Wife Magazine this week
*Walk with the family every night weather and behavior permitting
*Continue cleaning out stuff, reorganizing and selling/donating to help
alleviate some room√
*Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week
*My weight went up while sick and unable to work out, but I'm getting back into the swing of things
Today's motivation - Still slowing down with my much needed breather. My body can't fight the infection off if I'm exerting too much energy elsewhere, y'know?
Last weeks goal: Taking a breather
This weeks goal: The same, dude. I need it. Badly.

Oh. My. God.
I have kicked some major ass this week. But HOLYSMOKES, I'm so stinkin', ridiculous, dragged-down tired. And because life has kept getting in the way, I've had to reschedule my doctor's appointment three times, this time until hubby gets home. I simply need help.
But oh, how the house looks freaking AWESOME with what I've done! (Due to take pictures of it soon.)
In the meantime, today, OHTODAY, I've done so much and fell asleep early, so my list is late. Here's what I've done today:
Swept kitchen
Mopped kitchen
Cleaned the stove (I do this 3x a day)
Cleaned counters
Cleaned off the table
Vacuumed downstairs
Straightened up downstairs
Did a load of laundry
Vacuumed stairs
Vacuumed all 5 bedrooms upstairs
Swept and mopped bathrooms
Reorganized a bit in the hallways & kids rooms
And that's just today alone! Until about a half-hour ago! I need a nap! ;)
*Nap. STAT.
*Sell more items to clean out this house once and for all.
*Stop slacking and razzafrackin' purchase the dang plants for
"holes" in garden and finish back corner.End of story!
*Water lawn and plants
everyday.√
*Walk with the family every night weather and behavior permitting√
*Continue
cleaning out stuff, reorganizing and selling/donating to help
alleviate some room√
*Grocery shopping/print
coupons/list for this week (So afraid to go shopping by myself this
week without hubby)
*Even
though my weigh-ins with the Shrinking Jeans ladies are over, I will
still weigh in on Wednesdays for myself. But didn't last week. Maybe this week?
Today's
motivation - Slow down, and breathe. I really, really, REALLYREALLY need to take a breather. That is all.
Last weeks
goal: Finish the garden (Um... but I did the spare room and play room?)
This
weeks goal: DO EEEEET!

Well, if you haven't already been reading, hubby is gone and the house has gone completely looney-tunes. I'm keeping myself quite busy chronicling this time while he's away.
The good news? Hell has already begun, so no need to worry about what it will be like. Even better news? The countdown until his return has already begun, too, so thank goodness for that.
The bad news? Doing it all by myself. I feel so broken down already. I want to raise the white flag, and yet, I can't. 24 more days of this, no choice.
So, pardon me while I lose my razzafrackin' marbles for a bit, mm'kay? {sigh}
*Doctor's appointment for my thyroid this morning. Fun times, friends. *Prepare for my savior to arrive tomorrow (aka newly hired cleaning lady. Wahooo! More on that later) *Try NOT to want cower in the closet when the kids kick my will to live out of me by making me repeat commands to them over. And over. And over. *Purchase plants for "holes" in garden & finish back corner. For realz this time. *Research desk/organization options for "spare" room, as project while hubby's away. Like I'm not already too busy. *Water lawn & plants everyday. *Walk with the family every night weather and behavior permitting *Continue cleaning out stuff, reorganizing & selling/donating to help alleviate some room *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week (So afraid to go shopping by myself this week without hubby)
*Even though my weigh-ins with the Shrinking Jeans ladies are over, I will still weigh in on Wednesdays for myself
Today's motivation - Survive. It shouldn't be difficult to take one breath at a time, to put one foot in front of the other, but some days are more trying than others. Perhaps, focusing on the small, seemingly insignificant things will help me realize that perhaps my troubles aren't as bad as they seem. Baby steps.
Last weeks goal: Finish the garden (not done, hubby left, no help for me) This weeks goal: Definitely DEFINITELY finish it!

This week is going to be bittersweet - my husband leaves this weekend to go to a school for 3+ weeks away from us, so I'm flying the end of the school year solo. I'm not particularly happy about being husband-less at any point, let alone right now. But with the Army, that's kind-of how they roll, so I have to roll with 'em, whether I want to or not.
So for this week? It's preparation central here, trying to make sure everything's set for his departure, should anything "happen." It's also the Army way that, when guys leave, all hell breaks loose. True story. I fear these next three weeks because of that superstition alone.
*Girls hair trims today at 4:30. (Should take pictures of my trim, too. I guess?) *Prep for hubby's trip, to include oil changes/tire pressure/fluids for his car. *Try NOT to miss him too much (but who'm I kidding) :( *Purchase plants for "holes" in garden & finish back corner. *Research desk/organization options for "spare" room, as project while hubby's away *Fertilize the lawn, and remember to water everyday. *Walk with the family every night weather permitting *Continue cleaning out stuff, reorganizing & selling/donating. *Finish paying our bills for the month (began but was interrupted) *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week
Staying on my diet every day* Work out on 30 Day Shred,EAS Active More Workouts and walking ALL WEEK* (I'm beginning a new phase of fitness where I walk everyday, strength train every day, and now want to incorporate running possibly, too, everyday. Am I nuts?)
*Will weigh tomorrow for the LAST Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies :( Spring Fling challenge is over! :( I don't want it to be!
Today's motivation - Keep on keepin' on. Sometimes it's best you muscle-up and do things you don't want to, when you're feeling low, not in the "mood" and it turns out to be the best decision you could've made. I'm going to muscle it through these next few weeks, solo, and other things I normally would just "write off" in hopes these decisions end up being great ones. Who knows what the wind will bring if you deny it breathing you a breath of fresh air?
Last weeks goal: Finish the garden (not done, no time) This weeks goal: Definitely finish it!

Yes, we are all back to being healthy {knocks on wood} and Spring Cleaning and Reorganization 2010 is on like Donkey Kong, yo. I feel totally rejuvenated getting the clutter under control, reorganizing things and getting our house squared away. And (AND!!) we're redoing our gardens, too, so our house isn't just looking nifty on the inside, but outside as well. Yippee!!
I think I may be high on allergy medicine and pollen, or something. I just can't seem to stay away from the sun, the outdoors, and the fresh air. My kids definitely aren't complainin', nor are we when they sleep through the night like a rock. Heh.
OH YEAH! I purchased a used double-jogging stroller and those nifty Skechers Shape-Ups to walk with every day, too. Was so grateful to find a lady who didn't like the color of hers willing to sell them to me at a wonderful price that happened to be my size! Hello, luck! {grin} I like the feelings in my legs after our nightly family walks. (Can I tell you how stoked I am that the weather has been more than cooperative to allow for nightly family walks?)
*Finish steam cleaning the house head to toe (top half of the stairs and the bedrooms are next)! *Finish planting, hooray! *Fertilize the lawn, and remember to water everyday.√√√√√ *Walk with the family. Every night. Loving. It.√√√ *Continue selling items left over from yard sale on sale sites like bookoo.com and craigslist.org (still going strong!) *Donate. The. Seven. Big. Boxes. Of. Stuff. to the local mission *ahem* *Finish paying our bills for the month (began but was interrupted) *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week√√√
Staying on my diet every day*(Or, at least, try to. Ahem.)√√√√√ Work out on 30 Day Shred,EAS Active More Workouts and walking ALL WEEK* (I'm beginning a new phase of fitness where I walk everyday, strength train every day, and now want to incorporate running possibly, too, everyday. Am I nuts?)√√√√√
*Will weigh tomorrow for the Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies. Last week I had a big fat goose-egg of no change. I can't believe how hard it is to lose the last ten pounds, wow! I really had no idea it would be this hard...
Today's motivation - Prepare for Earth Day this year, and decide what it is you're going to change to go greener. I'm going to start treating Earth Day like New Years, and make a resolution of some sort, an eco-friendly one, to keep until next year's Earth Day (and hopefully forever). What do you think?
Last weeks goal: Plant and clean up the garden area. 95% done, woohoo! This weeks goal: Finish it!

As it ended up, Spring Break 2010 was a complete bust. No go for anywhere fun, just sniffy noses, 103 fevers and a whole lotta pink eye. (More on that soon, too. It's a fun story about a mother who gets it in not one but both eyes and tries like hell to not scratch her eyes into oblivion. Film at 11.)
So, good news? We were able to get the sick out of the house (and me with an assload of eyedrops) to hold the yard sale on Saturday! Yes! I loooooove the newly cleaned out closet! (Yes! It's finally, officially cleaned out and organized! Wahoo!)
Bad news - upon doing this yard sale and messing in the storage unit, we realized something was not smelling so bueno in there. We "think" a cat died. We say "think" because all that was left was fur {wretches} so, uh, yeah. Wanna know how to clean out your shed? Have something die in it, on a box no less (that immediately needs to be thrown away) and VOILA, Happy Easter celebration for you! (I'm so not kidding.)
And now it's a new week THANKTHEFREAKINGLORD and hopefully, a much better one than last.
*Steam clean this house head to toe, no more germs!√ *Do the above when inside, that is. A lot of time has been spent outdoors as of late. Yippie for warm weather!√ *Continue selling items left over from yard sale on sale sites like bookoo.com and craigslist.org√ *Donate the seven big boxes of donate stuff to the local mission (now that I've gotten into the closet to get to those donate boxes. I've even added to them, too.) *Dye eggs naturally with the kids (better late than never!) *Bake something awesome. That is, when we have enough chips to do so (Damn!)√ *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week√√√ *Bills (it's the first week of the month, it's bill time)√
Staying on my diet every day*(Go, me, go!)√√√√ Work out on 30 Day Shredor EAS Active More Workouts ALL WEEK* (Finished the 30 Day Shred and will post about my results this week!)√√√√√√√
*Will weigh tomorrow for the Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies. I hope yard saling and being sick helped us!?
Today's motivation - Go. Out. Side. Run, don't walk, into that fresh air. If you're anything like me, you're sneezing your guts out. That's okay, don't let allergies derail you from enjoying the beautiful spring sun, albeit it a bit stuffed up, it's Spriiiiiiiiing! (Just be sure to wear sunscreen. Don't ask me why.)
Last weeks goals (ish): freaking DONE! Woot! This week? Plant and clean up the garden area.√

If this is your first time reading and you're wondering what To-Do Tuesday is all about, click to check out the first post to find out more.
First things first, I want to apologize to you To Do Tuesday participants for not getting a TDT post up last week. My son's tummy bug knocked the bejeebus out of me so-much-so, I simply forgot until Wednesday. Ha! To Do Wednesday didn't make much sense, so.. uh.. yeah. I forgot. I'm human and tired and oh so sowwy. Forgive me? {Insert batting eye lashes and a teethy, cheshire cat grin here}
Second thing, I apologize this is late because, um, I almost forgot again. 'Cuz I'm made of awesome like that. You see, four of my six kids have some sick-like-thing happening, and it seems, I may have a touch of it, too. I just took my temperature and registered a not-so-normal 99.4, so, um, crap. Bring on the awesome-sauce with a side of whoop-ass, it's seemingly what's on the menu.
And as for my To Do List this week? With our Spring Break seemingly shot to hell, I haven't the foggiest. I have no list or plan, I'm just winging it at present, because we weren't even supposed to be here right now :(
*Get everyone well, 'cuz being sick and missing out on going away sucks. √ *Possibly, if we're feeling up for it and get well in time, go somewhere and do something cool. Jury is still out as to what. :( *Possibly hold a yard sale with the rest of post on Saturday for the post-wide yard sale & get this house cleaned out (I know, big talker here, with as crappy as we're feeling, but I always aim high.) √ *Because we're seemingly staying put, grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week √√√
Staying on my diet every day*(That is, if I don't get sick enough to have to alter my diet)√ √ √ √ √ √ Work out on 30 Day Shred(or something else) ALL WEEK* (I will finish the 30 Day Shred tonight with the Shrinking Jeans ladies, because a promise is a promise. Depending upon how I feel, however, I am not sure how much I will do for the rest of the week)√ √ √ √ √ √
*Will weigh tomorrow for the Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies. Not sure how feeling crappy will stack up weight-wise.
Today's motivation - rest. (Yes, it was the motivation last time, but it's different this time.) Now that we're all feeling under the weather, partly because of the soccer tournament we attended this weekend, I think we may need a week of R & R and not in a good, sandy beach kind-of way. Perhaps in a kind-of eat well, nap often, hand-washing, extra Vitamin-C and Echinachea-taking, sort-of way.
Last weeks goals: none (win!) Week before's goals: not done (more win!) This week? Not making any until I know I'm feeling better. (For the win!)

If this is your first time reading and you're wondering what To-Do Tuesday is all about, click to check out the first post to find out more.
Firstly, can I just please say how grateful I am for all the love and support you've all shown me? I'm going to staple myself to my desk chair tomorrow morning, my first official semi-normal morning I'll have seen in over a week (more on that in a minute) to write you all to thank you, personally. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. (That is, if the kidlets give me some uninterrupted time to write you all. If not, look for it tomorrow night. Heh.)
If yesterday could've been anymore surreal, anymore nerve-wracking, I might be sitting here completely gray-haired today at age 33. The situation was already unreal enough with my scary CT scan as it was, but to come home and turn right around, not even being able to process my morning fully without venturing off to continue on our quest for a replacement car for my husband. To peruse, to search, haggle, nail-bite some more, only to finally find him his not-new-but-new-to-us car to take home (a 2007 Nissan Versa S for practically nothing with only 50k in miles on it), ending my miserable life of a mother-playing-part-time-chauffeur, I am grateful yesterday is over and that today is a new day. It is a new day, right?
I think? Damn time change.
Until I know what yesterday's scans bring, I'm going to be nervous, and anxious, and probably a wreck. But I'm going to be all those things WITHOUT HAVING TO CART MY HUSBAND AROUND ANYMORE, THANK GOODNESS! {ahem} What I mean to say, is, I get my days back. Mornings filled with poopie diapers, crunched cereal into the floor, and coffee-slurping a-plenty. Not like that was really any different, but it was condensed, having to drive him to work and pick him up later, my time wasn't my time anymore, especially since any free time I then had was usually devoted to finding the 'perfect car' for us him, seeing it, looking it up, pricing it, haggling the guy over the phone for it.
Oh dear sweet baby Jesus layin' in the manger, I do NOT want to car shop for a while. Can you promise I don't car shop for a while? Pretty please, with a cherry and fudge 'n stuff on top? Mmkay?
(And dear, loveable, husband-type person, if you lose your title and forget to re-register your car, causing it to be impounded and cost us $200+ ever again while stationed away from 'home', I'm gonna have to club you over the head like you owe me money. Be forewarned, mister. No more Mrs. Nice Wife-lady on this one, pal.)
Aaaaanyway, on to this week's to-do list, now that my A#1 to-do was crossed off from last week, WOO-FREAKIN'-HOO!
*Enjoy my days back to somewhat normal. No more chauffeuring. Wahoo! (Can I get a wahoo? Or at least, maybe, a woo?)√ *Re-plant the dug-up plants out front since the water leak was fixed. *Finish detailing the minivan, complete with re-vacuuming. (The kids tried, I'll give 'em that. But normally, vacuuming requires actually taking things out of the car, and actually vacuuming places other than the back carpets. *sigh*)√ *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week√√√
Staying on my diet every day*(I'm still doing it, complete with some awesome new veggie recipes. Will share some!)√√√√√√ Work out on 30 Day ShredALL WEEK* (Other than my freak falling-asleep-at-7pm incident last week, before I got the chance, I've been doing it everyday!)√√√√√√√
*Will weigh tomorrow for the Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies. I'm excited to see where I might be!
Today's motivation - rest. It wasn't until this whole, nightmarish car-thing ended that I realized just how cram-packed we've been lately, and how very little "me" time I've had. I fully intend to cash in on some of this extra time this week, and take some time to really kick back and rest. At least, perhaps I'll fully rest after I hear some good results.. what do you think?
Last weeks goals: My weekly goal- donations donated and closet cleaned out - uh, ha. Yeah right. My free time was car shopping. The end. Perhaps this week, now that hubby has a car that he can drive to the donate-place all by himself? My daily goal- work out, in some form, every day - Yes, yes and YES!
(I lied.) This time is THE last time as my goals :)

Once upon a time there was a mom-of-many who had time to sit on her couch every once-in-a-while, peruse the internet leisurely in between nap times and play times, and take a deep breath every now and again. She used to like to blog and write about her crazy life instead of being just crazy. Do remember her? She used to look something like this:
She was a happy woman, all kinds-of things going on at any time, but never too busy to slow down once-in-a-while and enjoy life all around her.
Now? Now, because of practically no down-time, the aforementioned woman resembles something along the lines of this:
True story.
Hopefully, it'll calm down soon(ish). Soccer games 4 times a week is a wee bit much. I am so looking forward to Spring Beak, err BREAK! (Sorry, in my current condition as shown above, it can't be helped)
How is your March going so far? My list is gonna be a short one, because there's not much to fit in to the little time we have.
*UBER SUPER IMPORTANT- Find a new-to-us car for husband-type person. STAT! (Yes, to add insult to injury, we're down to one-car now. This chauffeur life is for the birds, man. Haha, birds.. get it? Uh...)√ *Pay bills for the month, Li. √Don't forget about a new budget, too. Slacker.√ *Hound the people at housing to give us a new house and finish awful repairs to this one (ohhh, this is SO getting blogged. That is, if I can staple myself to the chair long enough to write one up! Wish I could phone-in a post, or something! Ooh, ooh, maybe a vlog! Oooh...)√ *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week √√√
Staying on my diet every day*(I'm totally rocking out loud! Wahoo!)√√√√√√√ Work out on 30 Day ShredALL WEEK* (A whole week last week! 5.25 inches down after 9 days on the Shred! Holy crap!)√√√√√√
*Will weigh tomorrow for the Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies. Was down .7 last week and was down again before the weekend, too. Wish me luck!
Today's motivation - dance. Particularly if you have aWii, get Just Dance. If you don't, that's okay, too. Just rock out to some good, booty-shakin' music. Trust me when I tell you how fantabulous you'll feel shakin' your groove thang. I love dancing with my kids, and that Wii game involves music I grew up with, dance moves I did and recall like it was yesterday, AND my family I love. I don't think I can begin to explain to you the kind-of awesome that game is. Seriously.
Last weeks goals: My weekly goal- donations donated and closet cleaned out - mega-fail, I'm only adding to the donate/sell piles. Really need to get that going! My daily goal- work out, in some form, every day - YES! All week religiously!
One more time as my goals, let's see how I do this week!

Happy March to all of you! I must say, I. Am. Smoked.
Soccer, and reorganizing, and working out, and cleaning, and chores, and practices for aforementioned soccer, and OMGDIDIMENTIONFOURTEAMS?
I'm not sure if it's Jillian Michael's kicking my ass while we Shred, or the busy-ness of what's happening right now, but at night I feel like I've run a marathon all day, or something. (Speaking of marathon, I'd like to ask if you'd consider donating to help my fabulous friends over at Shrinking Jeans who are training to participate in the San Diego Rock n' Roll 1/2 marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. Can you help them? Thanks!)
Anyway, I've been uber-busy and in-a-state-of-almost-manic while running about in a borderline-chaotic manner getting things done. Me = pinball in a pinball machine. It's a wonder I don't collapse into a deep sleep while cooking dinner some nights. Do you forgive me for being so scarce? I sure hope so.
By the way, I did it, I got my BlogHer early bird ticket :) Are you going? Please tell me if you are!
*Finish decluttering one area a day, and finally get pictures taken of it! *Pay bills (it's a new month!) *Prepare a new budget *Finish working on backyard *Dining room chair repairs *Look into the hype of these fitness shoes? Should I? Shouldn't I? *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week√√√
Staying on my diet every day*(I did it all this past week! Wahooo! I've switched it up a bit, and am really loving what I've done!)√√√√√ Work out on 30 Day ShredALL WEEK* (After 4 days, it burns so good! But only on step 1.. I'm scared to move up! Ahh!) Maybe some yoga on the Wii Fit, too?√√√√√√√
*Will weigh tomorrow for the Wednesday Weigh-in with the Shrinking Jeans ladies. Wish me luck!
Today's motivation - fresh food. What, you ask!? How is that a motivation?! Let me tell you how great it is to throw in a little raw vegetables into the mix, and what it does for you. PLENTY! I probably single-handedly attribute my surviving all these practices and craziness happening because I've integrated more fresh, raw, clean food into my diet. In fact, I'm drinking less coffee to function! (I know, your jaw just dropped. I'm sorry, here, let me help you pick it up.) Try it and see, I bet you'll feel great, too! Add a couple leaves of lettuce and spinach to your lunch sandwich, or a salad to your dinner. Grab some healthy trail mix, snack on some grapes or an apple. It. Feels. So. Good.
Last weeks goals: My weekly goal- donations donated and closet cleaned out - didn't donate, but got the closets worked on - getting there! My daily goal- work out, in some form, every day - yes! I did this!
Because I did okay, I'm keeping these for my weekly and daily goals this week.

First week into another year of To Do Tuesday, and I'm getting so much organizational/spring cleaning-ish stuff done, it's ridiculous. Unfortunately, I was unable to begin/finish before my nemesis reared it's ugly head, scaring the ever-loving crap out of me, making me consider torching the place and starting fresh.
In the meantime, projects abound, boxes and bags to donate at the ready, I've been so busy that I haven't been around online too much. Cobwebs are forming here. Yikes! That and soccer started (OMGHELLOFOURTEAMS) so we're kind-of swamped. But it's a good swamped, the can't-slow-down, hair-on-fire, frenetic and fast-paced, causing you to fall asleep as you hit the couch, kind of swamped. I resemble a blur anymore.
*Continue decluttering one area a day. Pictures are forthcoming this week. It has seriously made the HUGEST difference in our house. *Schedule doctor's appointments *Spray for bugs in the house, because we need it! *Finish working on backyard *Check obsessively for tax refund {snicker} *Call housing and beg for a new house (post forthcoming. Again.) *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week
Staying on my diet every day*(AND ACTUALLY DO IT! Most of the chocolate is gone, holiday is over, time to get crackin' again! Ugh!) Work out on EAS Active More Workouts ALL WEEK {ahem}* (After finishing my 6 weeks, I haven't been regular between soccer starting and sickness abound. Must get back into it!)
*Will weigh tomorrow for the first time in a bit. Kinda freaked about it.
Today's motivation - focus. I could use some, but then again, couldn't we all? Having kids brings about a semi-adult case of ADD in that, you're pulled eleventy-billion places at once, and sometimes, without focus, things get overlooked, we get tired, agitated, and grumpy. No one wins when we're grumpy and unfocused. I'm going to begin writing my weekly and daily focus down on our wipe-off board. Want to join me? Perhaps, we'll add it to our lists, too?

It's official!! To Do Tuesday is officially a year old! Woo hoo!
To celebrate, I plan on purchasing for one lucky To Do Tuesday-er one of these GORGEOUS Mini List Takers by Bits 'n Pieces, etc on Etsy (shown there on the right). I went searching one day and found these, and I think they are the cah-yoo-test things ever! Available in many fabric choices, they hold mini legal pad and a mini pen/mechanical pencil with a pocket to hold coupons, receipts, tickets, or, well anything you can fit there. Like me. I want to fit there, and carry myself in this. (It doesn't matter if I'm too big. Are you not seeing the cuteness here?!)
Is this not the most adorable creation? I am such a sucker for pink and browns, too. This fabric in particular is called "City Girl" by Kitty Yoshida. I need to buy the heck out of it and make curtains and bed spread for my girls, I love it that much. {ahem}
Back to celebrating - I want to personally thank every person who has ever participated in To Do Tuesday this year:
Thanks to each and every one of you for sharing your list each week with us. Please, feel free to join us this week and link up your to do list for the chance to win that super-sweet etsy find above (in your choice of fabric)! (Note: one winner will be pulled from participating To Do Tuesday-ers on Tuesday, February 23rd)
This week, for my one-year To Do Tuesday anniversary list, here's what I have planned:
*Buy that fabric (above), because it is made of awesome and just owning it will make me happy *Try not to eat my body weight in chocolate or sweets, as we have entirely too many in this house at present (dang Valentine's Day) *Work out like a madwoman, we're on dessert overload here *Get more of my declutterin' groove on! *Grocery shopping/print coupons/list for this week *External hard drive to the computer doctor *Call IRS (yikes!)
Staying on my diet every day*(hello desserts, be kind to momma) Work out on EAS Active More Workouts all week?* (Preferably, twice daily. I feel my ass growing already. Damn tasty chocolates!)
*Um. I call "V-day Week Off" - mainly because I'm too scaredy-cat afraid to hop on and see how much I might've gained from our feast 'n stuff. {ahem}
Today's motivation - celebration! Celebrate everything today - big, small and the in between. I love having celebrations and continuing the festivities days after, like eating birthday cake for breakfast the day after. So much fun! Try it, I bet you'll love it, too.
