Ah yes, another Thursday is here. And just what am I thankful for this week? I bet you're on the edge of your seats, aren't you? {grin}
- I am thankful for Hyland's Teething Tablets. Fo' real, yo.
- I am thankful for water, the beautifully devilishly hot water that washed away the sweat, baby spit-up and yuck from yesterday and pressed into my skin, invigorating my soul as I childishly splashed my two-year-old as she waited for me besides the tub, hearing her laugh her oh-so-girly laugh, clapping her hands wanting more. (Who cares if she was fully dressed or not.)
- I am thankful my nine-year-old son still welcomes my snuggles with open arms. Thankfully, I'm not 'too icky' to cuddle with yet. I dread the day it happens. It will break me.
- I am thankful my four-year-old still needs someone to hold him to go to sleep, whether he lays on you, against you, or just sits with you - he needs mom or dad still, and it's simply a-ma-zing.
- I am thankful that my teenager loves to help cook, and I see that eagerness in wielding a utensil possibly becoming her career choice, and it excites me to see that glint in her eye; the glint of a bright future ahead of her.
- I am thankful that we've overcome the hurdles we've overcome with my eight-year-old and her hearing/speech. Hearing her say some of the phrases she says, with the inflections she says them with, it's a gift each and every time.
- I am thankful for his chunky thighs and the drooly, chubby cheeks. I. can't. get. enough. Ever.
- I am thankful for my fantastically awesome husband, sitting beside me right now, playing SIMS to be near me, while I finish posting, so that we may go sit together to watch a show, or play Wii or do something. So sweet, really. After many years we are still inseparable and still this much in love.
- I am thankful for my vacuum, even though it is old, it allows me to vacuum all the time now to ensure the floor is safe, now that little mister man is rolling. A lot. Everywhere.
- I am thankful for construction paper, glue, scissors and crayons. I love making crafts, and I love it especially doing it with my children.
- I am thankful for soccer, as this weekend marks the kick off of the season with their first games. There will be pictures, and early rushed mornings, but goals, and cheering and fun to be had. Our four-year-old will be playing for the first time this season (he starts in a week or two.) I hope I don't cry!
- I am thankful for Advil, for I've needed it almost every day this week.
- I will hopefully be thankful to get an appointment to see a doctor. The weakness in my wrists is concerning me greatly, and my migraines downright scare me. (Any positive thoughts here would be great. I know I'm getting older, but it's happening all at once, at it's kind of scary)
I am thankful for Sara and my awesome blog redesign. Sa-weeeeet!

I love how much you love your life. It is so nice to read about someone so happy, especially during these trying times. Keep it up, you make my day!
Great post!
Being thankful for those little things helps cloudy days seem brighter! :)
What a blessing! :D Reflecting on things to be thankful really helps put things in perspective.
Thanks for the smile. I especially love #3...my almost 8 year old still enjoys hugs so I'm going to keep giving/getting them as long as I can.
Precious, precious blessings! Gotta love that water, huh? Happy Thankful Thursday!
